This policy explains how LumeHouse Studios ("we", "us") collects, uses, and protects your personal information when you visit our website, make an enquiry, book a session, or access a private client gallery.

Information we collect

• Enquiry details. When you use our contact form we collect your name, email address, and any details you share about your event or session so we can reply and plan your booking.
• Payment information. Payments are processed by Stripe. We receive confirmation that an invoice was paid and limited billing metadata, but we never see or store your full card number — Stripe handles card data under its own security and privacy terms.
• Photographs. Images from your session are stored so we can deliver them through your private gallery. Galleries are accessible only via the link and credentials we share with you.
• Technical data. Like most websites, our servers record basic request information (such as IP address and browser type) for security and to keep the site running. We do not use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking.

How we use your information

• To respond to enquiries and plan and deliver your photography.
• To process payments and issue invoices and receipts.
• To give you access to your gallery once your booking is paid.
• To send you transactional emails about your booking or gallery.
• To protect the site against abuse and meet our legal obligations.

Where your data is stored

Enquiry and booking records are kept in our own database. Galleries and photographs are hosted on our self-hosted gallery service and on Cloudflare R2 storage. Payment processing is handled by Stripe. Each provider processes your data on our behalf under its own security commitments.

Cookies

We use only the functional cookies needed for the site to work (for example, security tokens on forms). We do not use advertising or analytics cookies that track you across other websites.

How long we keep it

We retain enquiry and booking records for as long as needed to provide our services and to meet tax and legal requirements, then delete or anonymise them. Galleries remain available for the period described when we deliver them, after which they may expire.

Your rights

You may ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop using it for a particular purpose. To make a request, contact us at [email protected].
