Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of the LumeHouse Studios website and our photography services, including bookings, payments, and access to private client galleries. By using the site or booking with us, you agree to them.

Using this site

You may browse the site and submit enquiries for your own genuine interest in our services. Please don't misuse the site, attempt to disrupt it, or use it for anything unlawful.

Bookings and payment

• An enquiry is not a confirmed booking. A booking is confirmed once we agree the details with you and any required payment is made.
• Payment before delivery. Final galleries are delivered after payment. When your invoice is paid through Stripe, your private gallery is published and made available to you automatically.
• Prices, packages, and what each includes are described at the time of booking. Payments are processed securely by Stripe.

Your gallery

Once published, your gallery is private to you and accessible via the link and credentials we provide. Please don't share access more widely than intended. Galleries remain available for the period described when we deliver them; please download your images before a gallery expires.

Photographs and usage rights

• Unless we agree otherwise in writing, we retain copyright in the photographs we create.
• On full payment, you receive a personal, non-commercial licence to view, download, print, and share your images for your own personal use.
• Commercial use, resale, or use of the images by third parties requires our prior written agreement.
• We may use selected images from your session in our portfolio or marketing unless you ask us in writing not to.

Cancellations and refunds

Cancellation, rescheduling, and refund arrangements are as agreed at the time of booking. Please contact us as early as possible if your plans change so we can work something out.

Disclaimers and liability

We take great care in our work, but to the extent permitted by law the site and our services are provided "as is", and our total liability arising from a booking is limited to the amount you paid for that booking. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota, USA, and any disputes will be subject to the courts of that jurisdiction.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The effective date above shows when they were last revised.
